The partner of the Technology and Infrastructure department of Almeida Advogados, Leonardo Palhares, has been elected as the new President of the Brazilian Chamber of Electronic Commerce (Câmara-e.net – www.camara-e.net).
Founded 15 years ago, the Brazilian Chamber of Electronic Commerce is the leading multi-sector entity of the Digital Economy in Latin America and has among its members, the largest and most important companies in the sector. The institution is a national reference, with a tradition of leadership and significant contributions to the development of the Brazilian digital economy in areas such as new technologies, telecommunications, internet, e-commerce, digital certification, payment methods, cybersecurity, data protection and privacy.
