It is with great pleasure that Almeida Advogados informs the opening, in the beginning of 2009, of its “Spanish Desk” project. This new sector will be lead by the Spanish lawyer Antonio Ramallo Fernandéz, graduated in the Law School of the University of Barcelona, in 1994, with the graduation essay: “Sistemas Retributivos del Órgano de Administración”. Mr. Fernandéz has also Masters Degree in Commercial Law, in the University of Barcelona (1998-99) with the thesis: “The Bank Secrecy” and is currently obtaining his Ph.D in Commercial Law, in the University of Barcelona. His Ph.D thesis will be: “The Participative Credits”.
Spain in one of the most important commercial partners of Brazil and, even in the current financial crisis, there is an increasing businesses and work flow between the two countries. Expecting to attend such demand, Almeida Advogados has added to its team another excellent professional, who shall act in the legal assistance of Spanish companies, and, in some cases, Latin America’s companies.
